How do i open the self scripting of my chatbot and see what is programmed?

You can do anything with our Self scripting language, and importing JSON, but you would need to create the script to do what you want to do.

You can add attributes to a bot or a user it is chatting with using a Self script or Template.

The global symbol #self is the object in Self that represents the bot. The variable speaker represents the current user in the current conversation. Any attributes you set on these objects (or any object) are automatically persisted in Self.

A female chatbot would talk to a female chatbot differently.Than a male chatbot.Like the romance chatbots would talk to a female chatbot differently than a male

chatbot.So the identification would be necessary.In order for the chatbot to say the right thing.

Disable learning from your bot's Learning & Settings page in its Admin Console.
Learning is recommend to be disabled for most types bots.

When my chatbot engages in chatbotwars.It will add to it's responses and mess it up.How do i prevent that from happening?

You can flag inappropriate statements if you want the bot to reject them.

Otherwise it depends on how you are training or scripting your bot.

How would my chatbot determine if a statement is inappropriate?Like if it is having a conversation with me.And i type all of a sudden i will be waiting for my drink.

You could probably use a template as your default response for this.

Something like,

It makes sense if you want the chatbot to say "I do not understand your question" or "I do not understand your statement" for your default response.

It would identify the punctation in the default response as a keyword.

A default response is only used when the bot has no better response, so it does not make sense to have keywords.

If you want a response that will be used for keywords just add it as a normal response.

How would i add keywords to a default response?

Bot Libre bots are based on an object-oriented knowledgebase that is stored in a relational database.
Bot Libre normally uses PostgreSQL, but is based on JDBC and JPA, so should be able to work with Oracle as well.

1. Self definies many utility classes as said in the documentation.Language , Date and Util are the ones mentioned there.Are there are any other classes definied in self. Where can I get the entire list of classes that I can use in Self script.

2. Can you elaborate more on Symbol in self.The documentation says 'The Symbol operator create a new primitive symbol representing the meaning of a word'. What exactly mean by primitive symbol and defines meaning?

What is the configuration to achieve both the things as you mentioned in your answer ?

If we load as response list then does the pattern wildcards used in our AIML has no effect ?

For AIML that is mostly questions and responses, importing as a response list is better as it is more efficient and allows the usage of our heuristic matching.

For AIML that uses complex patterns, templates, and topics, then importing as a script is better.

Which technique should ideally be used, loading AIML as script or as an response list?
