Why won't my twitter bot reply to me?

I can chat with my twitter bot on this site, but it won't reply to me on Twitter. Here are my current Twitter settings:

• Tweet when someone chats with the bot
• Reply to mentions
• Reply to direct messages

Max status updates: 20

Reply Keywords/Hashtags:

hello

Am I missing some setting to get it to reply to me on Twitter??
